Whale Watch

Next Up - the beginning of June brought another task from my bucket list - a whale watch!! sa-weet!! Thanks to my brother and his girlfriend I spent the weekend at the Cape. :) One of the highlights below would be the barbie dolls and company kicking it at the local hotel. hahahaha!! Oh and we saw one fin whale. I would not have cared if we didn't see any it was that much fun being on the water (and freezing!!) but I said before we left that if I saw any whale, I wanted it to be a fin whale...and that's what I got. Happy bday to me! :) One other call out - right before you get on the dock ...across the street....there is an ice cream place and they have adult shakes!! mmmm Mudslide...

We also took the dune tour - VERY interesting driver with drawn on eyebrows and lots of silver jewelry...and apparently he and his wife live in separate states...
This is the oldest gravesite....A female from the Mayflower.... I may not have selected the right photo though so please forgive me if I'm wrong. hahaha! this was THE most bizarre cemetary! totally overgrown with graves mixed in left right and sideways, up and down the hills...and there was some person who set up cam under the trees at the top...whatevs...

Aplogies and the Start of the Summer

Once again I have finally caught up on Cody's and everyone's blogs and I feel full of shame! lol I have an hour to kill before the Making Strides Breast Cancer walk so I'm gonna start getting this blog caught up on Summer '11! Thinking back I honestly can't think of one weekend that wasn't booked...

Anyway..it all started with the Netherlands. My first voyage overseas. soooo many pictures from a great time. If and when I find the Picasa link I'll post it. lol.

I flew home right before Memorial Day Weekend. And what better way to celebrate the holiday weekend then going horseback riding for the first time?! haha! Thanks Rene!! I'm very glad to get this one checked off the bucket list because I do not see myself doing that again. LEt me introduce you to Dude... lol Apparently AFTER we started on the trail the people who owned the stables were all "yeah Dude doesn't like horses behind him...especially the one we put DIRECTLY behind you..." THANK YU SO MUCH witches!! At one point Dude stopped, turned sideways, and then stood up on his hind legs. I stayed on but it was not really enjoyable. :( oh and there will be NO pics of me on the horse. bump that! hahahaha.
