The Office

no not work...nor the tv show...that's right, I'm talkin about the bar in Wausau! yeah babies! Who is coming with me!? LOL!! It is karaoke night and I promised the crew at Texas Roadhouse I would go tonight so here goes nothing! I wish someone were going with me though :( LOL!! Ooo and on the plus side the tornado watches have gone. Phew! I HATE wind!! lol :)

L'burg,TN

I never thought I would be so happy to go back to WI!! Not that I don't like Wausau and not that everyone I met in L'Burg wasn't a huge sweetheart but damn! oh my oh my. I can definitely tell you I would never make it as a southern bell!! hahaha! Apparently "crap" is swearword. d'oh! Seriously guys I will be staying in either columbia, TN or Florence, AL when I'm there for a month. There are only motels where your door opens to the outside...its a DRY county so the only drink s you can get at the ONE restaurant (the other sit down one apparently had mice and cockroach probs) are beer. which I like beer but when the choice is taken away all I can think of is Jack!! There were flies at the one restaurant too which wicked annoyed me...ummm oh it was mad hot (over 100)... ok so where are the pics I'm sure you're wondering. Still no iphone so not that many but here we go! Oh and thank God Ron was there with Maggie so I wasn't fending for myself!!

First off - a wonderful welcome at the baggage carousel in Nashville!! :) If only I was able to drink it there!!!

Next up...oh this was funny. I'm cruising down the highway basically (speed limit was 70mph), I come over a hill and tghere is a bicyclist biking down the road! It seemed not right.

Behold the lovely accomodations! Seriously the bed was comfy, bathroom was wicked sketch, and the rental car was very nice.

And here is the huge space between my door and the wall. I'm sure this is why I had the damn flies in my room...

Turns out the Amish shop at WalMart and they have special parking so the horses can drink in the shade...

And finally cuz I'm exhausted and out of pics (I sooo wish I had been able to take on of the speed limit that said "Speed Limit 55 Trucks 55" Really? cuz that would have been confusing ha! oh yes and the big billboard that said vote for Sheila Butt). anyway, here is the creamer at the office in L'Burg. tastes good but I've never seen anything like it!! And the cholestorol free thing made me laugh.

Pissed off - 2010's Crazy Travels: the Beginning

holy sh!t. I just typed for like 15-20 minutes and when I went to add a picture I had to click the thing to allow pop-ups and I lost EVERYTHING! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'll try and remember it all but be warned my heart is not fully in it now. hmph. lol

First stop? Wausau, WI. Good times! yeah baby! :) The picture above is from Coucil Grounds State Park (taken last year). I got another annual pass for this year so it'll be more fun scraping it off with the razor...

Thursday Randomness (day of arrival) - yeah I have zero stories other than I slept for basically 13 hours straight as soon as I left work. Yes you read correctly. lol Tired Kelly!

Friday night Randomness - Lovely to be back! I went to the Texas Roadhouse and as soon as I sat down I hear "HEY!!!! Where have you been!??!" LOL Caitlyn the bartender even remembered most of my order. haha. I know very sad.

Saturday Randomness - I headed to Appleton to go watch Shrek 4 with Jane and her granddaughter. movie was pretty funny. Afterwards we went to a very cool Japanese Steakhouse (cute attentive waiter!). I had a long drive home so when dinner was over I went to the ladies room.... yeeeeeeeeeah. HAHAHAHAH! so I get in the stall and there is this whole keypad thing attached to the HEATED seat. hysterical. They had a button for shower and one for bidet... I never expected a toilet like that in America, let alone WI!

Sunday Randomness - not so random. Slept in, read a book and went for a walk at Council Grounds. BUT I did get to go watch the Bohn/Nikolai volleyball team at the new volleyball court at Campus Pub & Grub. They JUST finished the volleyball courts (2) completed with nice wooden fence and night lights and tiki bar outside! It was very cool! If it wasn't so chilly out and if Bob had actually shown up I would have stayed longer. The only downfall is the waitress who was flaky and uber slow. ooooo!!! LOL and funny story. The girls sitting behind me were comparing notes. Apparently the second lady makes out with strangers every weekend and often wakes up wondering who is next to her. so sweet! One can only hope she gets tested!

alrighty. Blog has been started. Off to watch game 5 of the Celtics v Lakers!!

Oh and fyi Hudson's Diner has THE best coffee! omg. I ordered one and it came out with a little cup full of chocolate chips, some whip cream and cinnamon stick!! SOOO good. I think I'll be putting cinnamon sticks in all my future coffee. lol
